THEME PARK TERMS
Article 1: Scope of Application
The “JUNGLIA OKINAWA Terms of Use” (hereafter referred to as the “Terms”) apply to customers (hereafter referred to as “Guests”) using “JUNGLIA OKINAWA” (hereafter referred to as the “Park”), which is operated and managed by Japan Entertainment Inc. (hereafter referred to as the “Company”).
Article 2: Tickets
- Admission tickets (hereafter referred to as the “Park Ticket”) are required for entry to the Park. In addition, for some attractions, a priority experience is available by purchasing a ticket separate from the Park Ticket (hereinafter referred to as the "Attraction Priority Ticket", which together with the Park Ticket are hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Park Ticket, etc.").
- Information on Park Tickets, etc. (including ticket types, prices, and dates of availability) is provided on the “TICKET” page of the Park's official website (hereafter referred to as the “Official Website”).
- The terms and conditions of sales for the Park Tickets, etc., payment methods, etc., will be governed by the terms and conditions of sale stipulated by each sales agent.
- If it is confirmed that Park Tickets, etc. have been illegally resold for profit, the relevant Park Tickets, etc. and all Park Tickets and Attraction Priority Tickets available for some attractions purchased by the person involved in the illegal resale (whether or not they are Park Tickets, etc. sold by the Company) will be deemed void due to violation of the Terms or the Terms of Use for the online ticket service provided by the Company. In such cases, you will not be able to enter the Park using the invalidated Park Tickets, etc., and you will not be able to enjoy priority experiences at certain attractions using the Attraction Priority Ticket, and the Company will not be able to provide any compensation such as refunds in relation to this.
- If the information provided by the Guest when purchasing the Park Tickets, etc. (such as country of residence) is incorrect, or if the Guest does not meet the purchase conditions for the Park Tickets, etc. (such as age or country of residence), the relevant Park Tickets, etc. (regardless of whether the Park Tickets, etc. are sold by the Company) will be invalidated as a violation of these Terms and the terms of use of the online ticket service provided by the Company. In such cases, you will not be able to enter the Park using the invalidated Park Tickets, and you will not be able to enjoy priority experiences at certain attractions using the Attraction Priority Ticket, etc., and the Company will not be able to provide any compensation such as refunds in relation to this.
Article 3: Notes
- When using the Park, in addition to these Terms, Guests are also required to comply with any notices displayed at each facility, attraction or service in the Park, and any notes given by operational staff, performers, and other employees of the Park (hereafter referred to as “Navigators”).
- Guests are asked to check the Terms before visiting the Park.
Article 4: Notices
- The Terms, opening hours, business activities, and suspension information for the Park and its facilities, attractions, and services will be provided on the Official Website and the official mobile application for the Park (hereafter referred to as the “Official App”) etc..
- The Terms, opening hours, business activities, and suspension information for the Park and its facilities, attractions, and services are subject to change without notice.
- Any communication charges for using a telephone device by Guests within the Park or when using the attractions is the responsibility of the Guest.
Article 5: Admission and Re-entry/Attraction Use
- To enter the Park, you must specify the date of admission. You can specify the date of admission when you purchase the Park ticket. Even if you have an admission ticket, you may be asked to wait to enter the Park depending on the situation on the day of your visit.
- For some attractions, signing a liability waiver may be required prior to use.
- For some attractions, a numbered ticket (issued on the official app after entering) may be required.
- To use an attraction using an Attraction Priority Ticket, Guests must specify the date and time of use. Guests can specify the date and time of the attraction use when purchasing the Attraction Priority Ticket. Even if you have an Attraction Priority Ticket, you may have to wait to experience the experience depending on the situation on the day of your visit.
- When re-entering the Park, Guests need the Park ticket used for entry and the specified to present when re-entering the Park.
Article 6: Prohibited Acts and Matters
Guests shall not engage in any of the acts stipulated in the following paragraphs when using the Park. Violations shall be determined by the Company based on reasonable grounds. If a violation is found to have occurred, the Company may request that the customer who committed the violation and any Guest who cooperated in the violation cease the act and cooperate with an investigation to confirm the facts, and the relevant Guest shall comply with these requests. Furthermore, even if the Company's actions based on this article cause damage to the Guest who committed the violation or to the Guest who cooperated in the violation, the Company shall not be held responsible unless there is a reason for which the Company is to blame. In this case, the Company shall not refund the price of the Park tickets, etc., or compensate for other expenses paid by the Guest.
Acts that cause trouble for other Guests, acts that interfere with the business or operation of the Park, and acts that have the potential to do either of the aforementioned.
- Damaging or stealing facilities, equipment, decorations, etc.
- Reselling tickets for profit
- Fraudulent use of credit cards or electronic money, etc.
- Annoying, violent, threatening or stalking behavior towards other Guests or Navigators
- Impersonating Navigators
- Self-injurious behavior, indecent behavior
- Purchasing goods with the intention of reselling them
- Distributing leaflets, holding rallies or speeches, organizing events or performances
- Commercial or political activities
- Taking photographs or publicly transmitting images for commercial purposes (unless otherwise permitted by the Company)
- Taking photographs or publicly transmitting images that may infringe on the privacy of other Guests
- Taking photographs that have been expressly prohibited or restricted by the Navigator
- Taking photos using monopods, tripods, or selfie sticks (excluding those that do not extend and are small enough to fit in the palm of your hand, and can be used within the height of your head)
- Dangerous behavior such as climbing on equipment, hanging from equipment, or running in the Park
- Smoking outside of designated smoking areas
- Visiting the Park while intoxicated from alcohol or drugs
- Taking up space with a leisure sheet or luggage, etc.
- Joining up with or cutting in line with companions queueing
- Changing clothes or applying makeup in the restroom cubicle, or occupying the restroom cubicle for an extended period of time
- Exchanging money or goods with other Guests
- Giving gifts to Navigators
- Feeding or touching wild animals
- Any action that interferes with the operation of the Park or damages the experience value of other Guests
- Any action that infringes on or may infringe on the copyrights, trademark rights, intellectual property rights, property rights, trade secrets, portrait rights, privacy, or other rights of other Guests, the Company, companies related to the Park or Navigators
- Acts that are or may be in violation of laws or public order and morals
Bringing the following items into the Park
- Knives, explosives, and other items generally referred to as dangerous goods (including counterfeit goods), and items that may cause harm to other Guests
Examples of dangerous items: knives, firearms, model guns, airsoft guns, tear gas, stun guns, and other items that could be used as weapons or weapons, flammable liquids, explosives, high-pressure gas, poisonous substances, flammable substances, radioactive materials, other harmful substances, and items that could explode, catch fire, or produce toxic gas - Drones, radio-controlled aircraft, etc.
- Alcoholic beverages
- Cans and bottles
- Pets and animals (except dogs for assistance such as guide dogs, service dogs and hearing dogs)
- Food and drink (except baby food and snacks for infants)
- Armbands and flags for guidance, laser pointers, hand microphones, megaphones, wireless devices
- Carry cases (please use the lockers for your carry cases. Please note that we cannot accept any luggage that is too large to fit in the lockers.
- Outdoor carts, tricycles
- Large-scale photography equipment or facilities (unless otherwise permitted by the Company)
- Other items that may interfere with the business or operation of the Park or its related facilities, or cause a nuisance to other guests
- Knives, explosives, and other items generally referred to as dangerous goods (including counterfeit goods), and items that may cause harm to other Guests
Wearing the following types of clothing or using the following types of props
In addition, for your own safety, please wear comfortable clothing and footwear when visiting the attractions (we may refuse entry to those wearing sandals, high heels, or other footwear that may be unsuitable).When wearing clothing or carrying props that may adversely affect safety (including, but not limited to, the following)
- Long dresses, dresses or bottoms with trailing hems
- When wearing items that cover most of the face, such as masks, helmets, or masks (excluding those required for medical purposes)
- When wearing items that make it difficult to walk stably, such as skates or roller shoes
- When wearing items that expose excessive skin or go barefoot
- When wearing items that are considered dangerous, such as long or sharp items
When wearing clothing that is deemed to be likely to damage the world view of the Park, or clothing that is deemed to be likely to make other Guests feel uncomfortable (including, but not limited to, the following)
- Clothing that causes discomfort to other guests, or that reminds them of a crime, or that has the potential to do so
- Clothing that disrupts the order of the Park, such as clothing that reveals excessive skin, shows underwear, or is mistaken for underwear, or costumes that do the same
- Clothing or costumes that contravene or may contravene laws or ordinances such as public indecency
- Costumes of grotesque clothing, makeup or accessories that may cause discomfort or fear to other guests
- Make-up or masks that may interfere with the security of the Park (make-up or face paint that obscures the face, full-face headgear, masks or other items that obscure the face, even partially)
- Make-up or paint that may transfer to or stain other guests, the Park's staff or the Park's facilities or equipment
Article 7: Refusal of Admission/Ejection
In addition to reporting to and contacting the police and other relevant agencies if necessary, the Company may refuse admission to the Park, eject guests from the Park, or invalidate tickets already purchased for the Park in the following cases or for the following reasons. Even after admission, the Company may refuse use of the facilities, attractions, or services within the Park, or refuse all future transactions (ticket purchases, admission, etc.) with the Company.
Any violation of this article shall be reasonably judged by the Company based on reasonable grounds. In addition, the Company may ask you to show various forms of identification (such as a driver's license, health insurance card, passport, or other form of identification) in order to confirm your identity when providing guidance or taking the above measures. Furthermore, even if any damage is caused to a Guest or a Guest who cooperated with the Company due to the Company's measures based on this article, the Company shall not be liable for such damage unless the damage is attributable to the Company. In this case, we will not refund the cost of obtaining the Park tickets, etc., or compensate for other expenses paid by the Guest.
- When any of the prohibited acts set forth in the preceding article is committed
- When the customer fails to comply with the precautions displayed at each facility, attraction or service in the Park, or with the precautions provided by the Navigator
- When the customer violates the Terms
- When the customer is a member of a crime syndicate or related to a crime syndicate
Article 8: Handling of Personal Information
- The Company will manage the personal information of Guests obtained in the operation of the Park in accordance with the privacy policy established by the Company.
- Guests may be photographed when taking photographs of the facilities, attractions, services, etc. within the Park, or when photographed by the media (including the Company or television, internet sites, or SNS approved by the Company). Please note that photographs may be broadcast or published on television, internet sites, SNS, or other media, or on the Company's media.
- The Park has installed security cameras for security purposes. Images and video footage taken by these security cameras will be strictly managed in accordance with our regulations, and will be deleted after being stored for a certain period of time.
- Photos and videos taken by Guests in the Park may be used for private purposes only, provided that they do not pose a risk to the operation of the Park, do not cause inconvenience to other Guests or infringe on their rights.
Article 9: Suspension of Use of the Park etc.
In the event of any of the following circumstances, the Company may suspend, interrupt, close, change, shorten the opening hours of, restrict entry to, or temporarily close the Park in whole or in part for such period as the Company deems necessary without prior notice to the Guest.
- In the event of maintenance of the facilities, equipment, or infrastructure for safety or system reasons
- In the event that the operation of the Park becomes difficult due to natural disasters, fire, power outages (including planned power outages), suspension of transportation services, etc.
- In the event that the operation of the Park becomes difficult due to the spread of infectious diseases, requests from administrative agencies to reduce or suspend operations, other administrative guidance, or other reasons not attributable to the Company
- In the event that the Company determines that any other reason has arisen that is equivalent to the preceding items
In the event that the Guest incurs damage as a result of any of the items stipulated in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall not be liable for compensation for damage that is not attributable to the Company.
Article 10: Responsibility and Exemption of the Park
- In the event that the Company causes damage to a Guest through the use of the Park by the Guest due to reasons for which the Company is responsible, the Company shall be liable for compensation for such damage If the damage is not caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence, except for special damages and lost profits.
- The Company shall not be liable for accidents caused by the Guest’s negligence or for problems between Guests, except in cases where such accidents or problems are due to reasons for which the Company is responsible. Please take responsibility for the management of your clothes, valuables, and baggage, and be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any damage, loss, or theft of these items.
- If the terms of use, business hours, or business content of each facility, attraction, or service change on the day the Park is open, Park Tickets will not be refunded. If public transportation is suspended due to a disaster or severe weather and you are unable to enter the Park, Park Tickets that you were unable to use will be refunded.
- If the attraction in question is suspended on the specified date and time for an Attraction Priority Ticket due to reasons beyond our control or force majeure, the Attraction Priority Ticket will be refunded.
Article 11: Guest Responsibility
If the Company or the Park suffers damage due to the Guest's intentional or negligent actions, the Guest shall compensate the Company or the Park for said damage (including the actual costs of recovering the damage, the legal fees incurred in dealing with the damage, and the Company's lost profits).
Article 12: Safety Management of Children
Safety management of children is the responsibility of the guardian, so always watch children and accompany them to the toilet, etc. In addition, the management of baby carriages, etc. is also the responsibility of the Guest.
Article 13: Severability of provisions
Even if any part of the Terms is determined by a public institution to be illegal or invalid, the remaining parts will remain unaffected and valid.
Article 14 Governing Law, Jurisdiction
- These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- In the event of any dispute between the Company and the Guest in relation to these Terms and Conditions, the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction for the first instance.
Article 15 Language
The Terms are written in Japanese, and translations into other languages, including English, are made based on the Japanese version. However, in the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and the translated version, the Japanese version shall prevail.
Article 16 Changes to the Terms
- The Company may change any provision of the Terms if it is in the general interest of Guests or does not contradict the purpose of the agreement, and is reasonable in light of the necessity for the change, the appropriateness of the content after the change, the content of the change, and other circumstances related to the change.
- Changes to the Terms will apply from the specified effective date after the changes to the Terms are published on the official website.
- If a Guest uses the Park after the Terms have been changed, such use will be deemed to have accepted the changes to the Terms.
