LOCKERS TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR SPA JUNGLIA

The changing room lockers and shoe lockers within SPA JUNGLIA (hereinafter collectively referred to as the “Rental Lockers”) are provided for the temporary storage of personal belongings by users (hereinafter referred to as the “User”). Use of the Rental Lockers shall be subject to these terms and conditions.

  1. Rental lockers may only be used during business hours on the day of rental.
  2. Please pay the fee specified by the Company for each instance of use.

    If the use of the rental locker extends beyond the operating time and into the next day or later, the User may be faced with charges that will be applied at 2:00 AM, and the displayed rate for the used locker will be charged per day.

  3. Please confirm that all stored items have been promptly retrieve and no items have been left behind after using the rental locker.
  4. Items that cannot be stored in the rental lockers

    • Items valued at 20,000 yen or more, including valuable items such as cash, cash cards, prepaid cards, credit cards, securities, precious metals, jewelry, artworks, antiques, cameras, and other high-value items or documents and materials of significant value to the User.
    • Volatile or toxic substances, or hazardous materials such as explosives
    • Firearms, blades, drugs, and other items that may be used for criminal purposes, or items prohibited by law from being possessed or carried
    • Stolen goods or other illegal items, firearms, blades, drugs, and other items prohibited by law from being possessed or carried, as well as items obtained through criminal activities
    • Animals, items over the weight limit of 30 kilograms, and other items deemed unsuitable for storage
    • Items that emit odors, are unclean, prone to decay, deterioration, or damage, or may damage or deface the rental locker
    • Corpses, human remains, or animal carcasses
    • Other items deemed unsuitable for storage by the Company
  5. Inspection of rental lockers and stored items

    In cases of mechanical failure requiring emergency inspection or maintenance, or when deemed necessary by the Company, the Company may inspect the rental locker or be present during the removal or restoration of stored items.
    In addition, if the Company finds or suspects that any of the items listed in Paragraph 4 (Items that cannot be stored in the rental lockers) have been placed in a rental locker, the Company may open the locker, remove the contents, store them separately, dispose of them, or take other appropriate measures.

  6. Period of use and measures upon expiration of the period of use

    The period of use shall be until the end of business hours on the day of use.

  7. Storage period and measures expiration of the storage period

    The storage period shall be three days from the start of use, including the day of use.

    Please submit the required documents specified by the Company and present proof of identity. Your stored items will be returned to you in exchange for the rental locker key. If the key is not returned by the end of business hours on the same day, you will be required to pay the cost of replacing the locking mechanism (3,000 yen, actual cost), plus the daily storage fee for the rental locker multiplied by the number of days stored.
    If the stored items are not collected before the storage period expire, the User shall be deemed to have abandoned their rights to the stored items, and the Company shall dispose of them. The proceeds from such disposal shall be applied toward the storage fee and other expenses.

  8. Lost and Found

    In accordance with the amended Lost Property Act (2007), our facility qualifies as a designated facility occupier. If a lost item (also referred to as a found item) is reported to the police within two weeks, our facility may retain the item, and may also sell or dispose of the item in accordance with the law.

  9. User's liability for damages

    If the User damages the rental locker or causes damage to items stored in other rental lockers, the User shall be liable for any damages incurred by the Company or third parties.

  10. Limitation of liability and the Company’s liability for damages

    • In the following cases, even if damage such as loss or damage occurs to the items stored in the rental locker, the Company shall not be liable for compensation.

      • Items listed in Paragraph 4 (Items that cannot be stored in the rental lockers) were stored in the rental locker
      • The User suffered damage due to the loss or theft of the key or other items
      • In cases of natural disasters, emergencies, or other force majeure events
      • In cases of improper use of the rental locker by the User, such as incorrect locking
      • In cases where the contents are seized or requested to be submitted as evidence by relevant government authorities pursuant to action by a judicial authority
      • Any other circumstances where liability is not attributable to our company
    • In cases where the Company is liable for damage such as loss or damage to stored items, the compensation payable by the Company shall be limited to 20,000 yen.
    • The provisions of (1) and (2) shall also apply to stored items being kept in accordance with Paragraph 6 (Measures upon expiration of the usage period) and Paragraph 12 (Contact).
  11. Key storage and loss

    • The key to the rental locker must be kept securely by the User after locking.
    • If a key is lost, please immediately notify the Contact specified in Paragraph 12. Please submit the required documents specified by the Company and present proof of identity.
      The stored items will be returned. If the key is not returned by the end of business hours on the same day, the lock will need to be replaced, and you will be charged 3,000 yen (actual cost) for the replacement.
