SPA JUNGLIA TERMS
Article 1: Scope of Application
These “SPA JUNGLIA Terms of Use” (hereafter referred to as the “Terms”) apply to customers (hereafter referred to as “Guests”) who use “SPA JUNGLIA” (hereafter referred to as the “Facility”), which is operated and managed by Japan Entertainment Co. Ltd (hereafter referred to as the “Company”).
Article 2: Tickets
- Admission Tickets (hereafter referred to as the “Facility Tickets”) are required for entry to the Facility.
- Information on the handling of the Facility Tickets (details of Ticket types, prices, dates of sale, etc.) will be provided on the ‘TICKET’ page of the official website (hereinafter referred to as the “Official Website”) of JUNGLIA OKINAWA (hereinafter referred to as the “Park”).
- The terms and conditions of the sales contract for the Facility Tickets, payment methods, etc. are subject to the sales conditions stipulated by each sales agent.
- If it is confirmed that Facility Tickets have been illegally resold for profit, the Facility Tickets in question and all Facility Tickets purchased by the person involved in the illegal resale (regardless of whether they are Facility Tickets sold by the Company or not) will be invalidated. In this case, entry with the invalidated Tickets will not be permitted, and we will not be able to provide any compensation, such as a refund.
- If there is an error in the information (such as the country of residence) provided by the Guest when purchasing Facility Tickets, or if the Guest does not meet the conditions for purchasing the Facility Ticket (such as age or country of residence), the relevant Facility Ticket (regardless of whether it is a Facility Ticket sold by the Company) will be invalidated as a violation of the Terms or the Terms and Conditions for Use of the Online Ticket Service provided by the Company. In this case, entry with the invalid Facility Ticket will not be permitted, and the Company will not provide any compensation such as refunds.
Article 3: Notes
- In using the Facility, Guests must comply with the Terms, as well as any notes displayed at the Facility and any notes provided by the Facility staff (hereafter referred to as “Navigators”).
- Guests must confirm the Terms before entering the Facility.
Article 4: Information
- The terms of use, opening hours, and business details of the Facility will be provided on the Official Website of the Park and the official mobile application of the Park, etc.
- The terms and conditions of use, opening hours, and business details of the Facility may change without notice.
- If a Guest uses a communication device to communicate when entering, on the grounds, or leaving the Facility, the communication charges will be borne by the Guest.
Article 5: Admission and Re-entry
- Entry to the Facility requires a specified entry date. The entry date is specified when purchasing the entry Ticket. Even those with entry Tickets may be asked to wait to enter depending on congestion on the day of entry.
- Re-entry to the Facility is not permitted. If you have any questions, please ask a Navigator.
Article 6: Health Conditions When Using the Facility
Those with any of the following health conditions cannot use the Facility.
- Guests who have been advised against bathing by a doctor
- Guests who are not in good physical condition
- Guests with contraindications or acute diseases (especially if fever is present)
- Guests with active tuberculosis
- Guests with malignant tumors
- Guests with serious heart disease
- Guests with respiratory failure
- Guests with bone marrow failure or kidney failure
- Guests with hemorrhagic disease
- Guests with skin disease
- Guests with other diseases that are in a state of progression
- Guests with anemia
- Guests who may have contracted an infectious disease or who may be suffering from an infectious disease
- Guests who are pregnant (especially in the early or late stages) or may be pregnant
- Guests who have high blood pressure
- Guests who have diarrhea
- Guests who have recently undergone an operation or are in a state of extreme fatigue
- Guests who have an injury that may cause bleeding
- Guests who are experiencing menstrual bleeding
- Guests who are drunk, intoxicated or very drunk
- Guests who have any other condition that may interfere with use of the sauna
- If the Company determines that a Guest falls under the health conditions, etc. in the preceding paragraph, the Company may refuse the Guest from using the Facility. In this case, the Company will not refund the admission fee to the Guest.
- By using the Facility, the Guest is deemed to have expressed that they do not fall under the health conditions, etc. in paragraph 1. Furthermore, the use of the Facility is at the discretion of the Guest themselves, and the Company will not be held responsible for any changes in physical condition, etc.
- If feeling unwell or injured, please inform the Navigator immediately. There is no medical doctor at the Facility, so in the event of an emergency, an ambulance will be called.
Article 7: Rules to be Observed and Prohibited Items
Guests shall comply with the rules in Paragraphs 1 and 2 when using the Facility and shall not engage in the prohibited acts in Paragraph 3. Violations shall be reasonably determined by the Company based on reasonable grounds. If a violation is found to have occurred, the Company may request that the Guest who committed the violation and any Guests who cooperated in the violation cease the behavior and may also request that they cooperate in an investigation to confirm the facts. Relevant Guests shall comply with these requests. Furthermore, even if the Guest who committed the violation or the Guest who cooperated in the violation incurs damage as a result of the Company’s response based on this article, unless there is sufficient reason that shows the Company to be at fault, the Company will not be responsible. In cases such as this, the Company will not refund the price of the Tickets for the Facility, etc., or compensate for other expenses incurred by the Guest.
Bathing rules
- No clothing allowed. Bathe naked.
- Do not wear a bathing suit or towel when bathing.
- Be careful your footing in the Facility (especially in the bathhouse), and do not run.
- When bathing, do not dive, swim or jump in.
- Before bathing, rinse your body with water from the shower or by pouring water over yourself.
- Do not bring towels, hand towels, toiletries, toys, etc. into the bathtub.
- Use the toilet to relieve yourself when needed. Do not relieve yourself in the bath area.
- For hygiene reasons, food and drink is strictly prohibited. Use the water dispenser for rehydration.
- Medical swimsuits and equipment may be worn.
Rules for using the changing room and shoe lockers
- Leave any large items or shoes that do not fit in the changing room or shoe lockers at the reception desk. Please note that due to limited space, items can only be used while using the Facility.
- In the event that you lose your changing room locker or shoe locker key, there will be a 3,000 yen (including tax) charge for each lost key. For security reasons, the key will be replaced immediately using the charge to cover the cost of this replacement. Therefore, in any case, including if the key is found after the fact, the lost key charge will not be refunded.
- You may not store volatile or toxic substances, explosives or other dangerous items, items that smell, items that easily spoil or deteriorate, items that may damage or deface lockers, animals, heavy items, or any other items that are deemed unsuitable for storage. If there is any suspicion that these items have been placed in a locker the Company may open the locker and inspect the contents. In addition, depending on the situation, other measures, such as separate storage or disposal make be taken if deemed necessary.
- Lockers may be used from the opening to the closing times of the Facility. Outside of these hours, items will be collected as lost property.
- Article 21 of the Terms applies to lost property.
- Due to the nature of the Facility, there are no security cameras installed. Guests are asked to strictly manage their own personal belongings. (Article 23 of the Terms applies.)
Prohibited Items
- Bringing dangerous items (glassware, metal/bladed items, explosives) or animals such as pets into the Facility
- Bringing flammable items (newspapers, magazines, cigarettes, etc.) or food and drink (for hygiene reasons) into the bath or sauna
- Use of glasses, earrings, necklaces, rings and other precious metals in the sauna (please use the deposit box at the sauna entrance for these items, as there is a risk of deformation or burns)
- Use of the baths, washing areas, etc. for purposes other than bathing or sauna use, such as defecating, hair dyeing, body scrubbing, washing clothes, etc.
- Throwing objects into the sauna stove or pouring water on it
- Taking photos of the Navigator or other Guests in the Facility
- Taking photos for commercial purposes in the Facility (including those that do not include the Navigator or other Guests)
- Smoking in areas other than the designated smoking area (including heated and electronic cigarettes; smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Facility other than the designated smoking area)
- Taking towels and other equipment out of the Facility
- Being naked in areas other than the bath or changing room areas
- Bathing with oil, sunscreen, etc. on your body
- Using the Facility outside of opening hours
- Entering areas reserved for Navigators
- Making unreasonable demands, such as threats, blackmail, or violence, or making demands that are beyond the reasonable, to the Navigators or other Guests at the Facility
- In addition to the items above, any act that is against the law or public order and morals, any act that violates the Terms, any act that interferes with the Company’s business, any act that causes damage to the Facility, equipment or furnishings, any act that causes discomfort or inconvenience to other Guests, and any other act that the Company deems inappropriate
Article 8: Refusal of Entry/Exit
In the event of any of the following, if seen as necessary the Company may notify or contact the police or other relevant organizations, refuse entry to or continued use of the Facility, or invalidate Tickets for the Facility already purchased. Even after entering the Facility, the Company may refuse use of the Facility or refuse future business transactions (such as Ticket sales or entry).
Violations noted in this article will be judged by the Company based on reasonable grounds. In addition, the Company may ask to see various forms of identification (driver's license, health insurance card, passport, or other forms of identification) in order to confirm the identity of the person in question when providing instructions or taking the above actions. Furthermore, even if damage is caused to a Guest or a Guest who cooperated with the actions of the Company based on this article, unless there is sufficient reason that shows the Company to be at fault, the Company will not be responsible. In this case, there will be no refund for the cost of obtaining Tickets for the Facility or other expenses paid by the Guest.
- When any of the prohibited acts set out in the preceding article is committed
- When the Guest fails to comply with the notices displayed at the Facility or the notices given by the Facility Navigator
- When the Guest violates these Terms
- When the Guest is a member of a crime syndicate or has a relationship with a crime syndicate
Article 9: Handling of Personal Information
- The Company will manage the personal information of Guests obtained in the operation of the Facility in accordance with the privacy policy established by the Company.
- When taking photographs of various services, etc. within the Facility or when taking photographs by media (including the Company or television, internet sites or SNS approved by the Company), Guests (excluding Guests in the changing rooms or baths) may be the subject of the photographs. Please note that the photographs may be broadcast or published on television, internet sites, SNS, etc., or in the media of the Company.
- At the Facility, all photography and recording is prohibited inside the changing room (you may not use any camera equipment, recording equipment or similar items in the changing room, bath, toilet, locker room, powder room, etc.).
- Excluding items prohibited in the previous section, photos and videos taken by Guests in the Facility may be used for private purposes only, provided that they do not cause any inconvenience to other Guests or infringe on their rights, and provided that they do not pose a risk to the operation of the Facility.
Article 10: Age Restrictions and Use by Children
- The Facility are for Guests aged 10 or older. Those aged 10 years and under must be accompanied by a guardian of the same sex aged who is 16 years or older.
- The safety of children is the responsibility of their guardians. Do not leave a minor unattended and ensure that they are accompanied by a guardian when using the toilet, etc. In addition, Guests are responsible for their own baby buggies etc.
Article 11 Mixed bathing
The facility strictly prohibits Guests who are 7 years old or older (related to Article 4 of the Okinawa Prefecture Public Bathhouse Law Enforcement Ordinance (33)) or who are 120 cm or taller from entering the changing rooms or baths of the opposite sex.
Article 12 Guests with tattoos or body art
Guests with tattoos or body art are not permitted to enter the Facility or bathe. Guests with tattoos or body art must use the cover stickers provided by the Facility, regardless of the size of the tattoo or body art. If your tattoo or body art is large enough to be completely covered by 8 cover stickers (8cm x 10cm), it is permitted to bathe if the tattoos or body art are fully covered. Guests with body paint or stickers on their bodies must remove them before entering the bathing area.
Article 13: Wearing diapers
For hygiene reasons, Guests wearing diapers (including training pants and adult diapers) of any age are not permitted to use the changing rooms or baths at the Facility.
Article 14: Service dogs for the physically disabled (guide dogs, service dogs, hearing dogs)
Service dogs are not permitted in the changing rooms or baths. Leave your service dog with a companion or notify a member of staff. There is also a dedicated barrier-free bath (reservation required), so ask the Navigator.
Article 15: Permission to Use Images, etc.
The official SNS accounts related to our Facility (such as Facebook, Instagram, X, etc.) may repost or retweet photos of our Guests posted on SNS. When taking photos, etc., please observe the Terms (prohibited items) and also be considerate of those around you from the perspective of protecting privacy.
Article 16: Handling of Items Left for Storage
- In the event that items left in the care of the reception by the Guest (excluding cash, securities, credit cards, cash cards, precious metals, and other valuables with a value of 20,000 yen or more (hereinafter referred to as “Valuables”)) are lost or damaged due to reasons beyond the Guest's control, the Facility will compensate for the damage up to a maximum of 20,000 yen, except in cases of force majeure. In addition, the Facility will not accept expensive items as a rule. Even if the Facility accepts the deposit of expensive items, if the Guest does not clearly declare the type and value of the item, the Facility will not compensate for any damage exceeding 20,000 yen, even if the loss, damage, etc. is due to reasons that cannot be attributed to the Guest or is not due to force majeure.
- If the loss, damage, etc. of items left in the locker by the Guest is due to reasons that cannot be attributed to the Guest, and if it is due to reasons that can be attributed to the Company, the Company will compensate for damage up to 20,000 yen, except in cases where there is intentional or gross negligence on our part.
- In the event that the Guest suffers loss, damage, etc. to items (including expensive items) brought into the Facility that were not left in a locker or at reception due to circumstances beyond the Guest's control, and if this is due to a reason for which the Company is responsible, the Company will compensate for the damage up to a maximum of 20,000 yen, except in cases of intentional or gross negligence on the part of the Company.
Article 17: Private Barrier-free Bath
The Private Barrier-free Bath is available by advance reservation only. The duration of use is 1 hour (free of charge, no extensions). ① to ③ are required to be eligible to use the private barrier-free bath.
Requirements for eligibility:- Guests who have paid the admission fee for the Facility
- Not available for use by able-bodied persons
- Guests with disabilities or Guests with similar conditions
- Make sure to arrive at the reception desk at least 10 minutes before the reservation time to allow time for the check-in procedure. An extension or refund will not be provided if the Guest arrives immediately at the reservation time, or if they are are unable to use the bath due to late arrival.
- If the Guest or their companion does not cancel the reservation and does not arrive within 20 minutes of the reserved time, the Facility may cancel the reservation due to the remaining available time not being appropriate.
Article 18: Precautions when using the sauna
- When using the cold shower or cold bath after a sauna bath, please spray the water on your body starting from the areas furthest from your heart.
- Please be careful not to burn yourself as the walls and handrails around the sauna room may be hot.
- Please follow any other instructions or requests given by the Facility's Navigators.
- Children aged 12 and under (under junior high school age) must be accompanied by a guardian aged 16 and over.
Article 19: Navigator Entry and Guidance
In the event that the Guest exceeds the time limit for use of the Facility, or if it is necessary to check the Guest's physical condition, or if it is necessary to ensure the Guest's vital signs or physical safety, the Navigator may enter the room. In the event of a fire, earthquake or other disaster, or in the event of any other emergency, please immediately stop using the Facility and evacuate. In the event of an emergency requiring evacuation, please follow the instructions of the in-house broadcast or the Navigator, and act calmly.
Article 20: Suspension of Use of the Facility, etc.
In the event that any of the following circumstances arise, the Company may suspend, interrupt, suspend, change, change the business hours (including shortening), restrict admission, or temporarily close the entire or a part of the Facility for the period of time that the Company deems necessary without prior notice to the Guest.
- When maintenance is carried out on the Facility, equipment or infrastructure for safety or system reasons
- When it is not ideal to operate the Park or the Facility due to natural disasters, fire, power outages (including planned power outages), suspension of transport services, etc.
- When it is not ideal to operate the Park or the Facility due to the spread of infectious diseases, requests from government agencies to reduce or suspend operations, other administrative guidance, or other reasons not attributable to the Company
- In the event that the Company deems that any other reason has arisen that is equivalent to the preceding items.
- In the event that any damage is incurred by a Guest due to any of the items stipulated in the preceding paragraph, the Company shall not be liable for compensation for any damage that is not attributable to the Company.
Article 21 Lost Property
If the property is reported to the police within two weeks, the Facility may keep, sell, or dispose of the property. (The facility falls under the Lost Property Act and Special Facility Occupant System, which were revised in 2007.)
Article 22 Responsibility of the Company and the Facility
- In the event that a Guest incurs damage as a result of using the Facility, and this damage is due to a reason for which the Company is responsible, the Company shall be liable for compensation for the damage, excluding special damage and lost profits, unless the occurrence of the damage was due to the Company's intent or gross negligence.
- Our company shall not be liable for accidents caused by the Guest's carelessness or for problems between Guests, unless the cause is due to a reason for which the Company is responsible. Guests are responsible for the safekeeping of their own clothes, valuables and baggage, and we accept no responsibility for any loss, damage or theft.
- If the terms and conditions of use, opening hours or content of the Facility change on a day when the Facility is open, the Company will not refund the Facility Ticket. However, if the public transport system is suspended due to a disaster or bad weather and you are unable to enter the Facility, we will refund the Facility Ticket for the day you were unable to use it.
Article 23: Guest Responsibility
If the Company or the Facility suffers damage due to the Guest's violation of the Terms, or due to the Guest's intentional or negligent actions, the Guest shall compensate the Company or the Facility for the damage (including the actual costs of recovering the damage, the legal fees incurred in dealing with the damage, and the Company's lost profits).
Article 24: Separability of Clauses
Even if a part of the Terms is judged to be illegal or invalid by a public institution, the part in question shall be excluded and the remaining parts shall remain valid and effective.
Article 25: Governing Law and Jurisdiction
The governing law of the Terms shall be the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court or the Tokyo Summary Court shall be the court of exclusive jurisdiction for the first trial for any and all disputes arising from or in connection with the Terms.
Article 26: Language
The Terms are written in Japanese, and translations into other languages, including English, are made based on the Japanese version. In the event of any discrepancy between the Japanese version and any other language translation, the Japanese version shall prevail.
Article 27: Changes to the Terms and Conditions
- The Company may change any of the provisions of the Terms if such change is in the general interests of users, does not contradict the purpose of the contract, and is reasonable in light of the necessity for the change, the reasonableness of the content of the change, the content of the change, and other circumstances related to the change.
- Changes to the Terms will apply from the specified effective date after the details of the changes have been published on the website.
- If a Guest uses the Facility after the Terms have changed, it will be deemed that the Guest has accepted the changes to the Terms.
